Last Sunday, April 21, Fóshān 佛山 launched Kung Fu Corner 功夫角, a martial arts activities program that promises demonstrations every Saturday from now until the end of the year. The program aims to bring Kung Fu closer to citizens and visitors in order to foment Chinese martial arts culture and promote Fóshān’s image as 'Kung Fu City'.

For this occasion, we had the honour of being invited to participate in the exhibition representing the Choy Li Fut 蔡李佛 style with the school of Master Leong Wai Wing 梁偉永. The inauguration took place at the Nova shopping center, in Lǐng Nán Tiān Dì 岭南天地 Square.

We share some of the images taken during the event by Chánchéng 禅城 Tourism office and published in their social networks. The publication highlights that in Fóshān are practiced 52 styles of boxing and there are about 70 martial arts clubs that bring together more than twenty thousand practitioners.
